Terms of Service

Last updated: July 3, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vetted website, application, and APIs (the "Service") provided by Vetted / Aqlan AI ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Vetted is an AI-assisted candidate shortlisting platform. Output is decision support, not a hiring decision — you remain responsible for all hiring outcomes and for compliance with applicable employment and anti-discrimination law.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter a contract.

3. Subscriptions & billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled.
  • Fees are stated on the pricing page and may change on renewal with prior notice.
  • Taxes may be added by Paddle based on your location.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period.

5. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful, harassing, infringing, or discriminatory use.
  • No attempts to reverse engineer, break, or overload the Service.
  • You must have a lawful basis to upload candidate data and honor applicant rights.

7. Your data

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service. Our handling is described in the Privacy Notice.

8. AI output

Model output may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for a hiring, legal, or safety decision.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or risk to the Service. You may terminate at any time by closing your account.

10. Warranties & disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
